Terms and Conditions

AJ Auto – JLR Key Specialist (AJ Auto Key Replacement)

By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you (“the Customer”) and AJ Auto – JLR Key Specialist (“AJ Auto”, “we”, “us”, “our”).


1. Services Provided

AJ Auto provides mobile automotive locksmith services including, but not limited to:

  • Jaguar, Land Rover, and Range Rover key replacement and programming (models up to 2025)

  • Spare keys, all-keys-lost solutions, and key fob replacement

  • Emergency mobile assistance and immobiliser-related services

All services are provided on a mobile, call-out basis unless otherwise agreed in writing.


2. Eligibility and Authority

By requesting our services, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age

  • You are the legal owner of the vehicle or have full authority from the legal owner

  • All vehicle details provided (registration, VIN, model, year) are accurate and complete

AJ Auto reserves the right to refuse or stop service if ownership or authority cannot be verified.


3. Quotations, Parts, and Key Type

  • All quotations are for aftermarket keys by default, unless explicitly stated in writing that an original/OEM key is supplied

  • Key blades are not included in any quotation unless clearly specified in writing

  • Quotations are based solely on the information provided at the time

  • Any incorrect, missing, or misleading information may result in a revised price or refusal of service

No verbal statement overrides written confirmation.


4. Payment Terms

  • Full payment is due immediately upon completion of the service

  • Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, card, or other approved methods

  • No payment data is stored by AJ Auto

Refund Policy

Refunds are only considered where a service failure is proven to be directly caused by AJ Auto.
All refund requests must be submitted in writing to help@ajkeyreplacement.com.


5. On-Site Testing, Demonstration, and Acceptance

  • Upon completion, all programmed keys are tested by our technician and demonstrated to the Customer on site

  • Testing includes locking, unlocking, starting, and passive entry (where applicable)

Any issue must be raised, checked, and recorded while the technician is present.

Once the service is demonstrated and the technician leaves the site, the work is deemed fully accepted.


6. Post-Service Liability Exclusion

AJ Auto accepts no liability for any fault, issue, or malfunction if:

  • No issue was raised immediately at the time of service

  • The vehicle has subsequently been:

    • Inspected, scanned, updated, programmed, or worked on by a main dealer

    • Handled by an independent garage or technician

    • Connected to any third-party diagnostic or programming tool

  • The vehicle has been tampered with, modified, or subjected to software or security updates

Any third-party involvement immediately voids all liability and warranty.


7. Battery and Voltage Exclusion

AJ Auto is not liable for any fault or malfunction caused by:

  • Weak, failing, faulty, or flat vehicle batteries

  • Voltage drops before, during, or after service

  • Battery-related module or electrical faults

Any warranty is automatically void where battery issues are present.
Call-out charges apply for any return visit related to battery or voltage faults.


8. Warranty – Manufacturer Defects Only

  • All keys, remotes, and parts supplied by AJ Auto carry a limited warranty covering manufacturer defects only

  • The warranty applies solely to faults proven to be caused by a manufacturing defect in the supplied key or component

The warranty does NOT cover:

  • Vehicle faults or module failures

  • Programming issues caused by vehicle condition

  • Software or security updates carried out after our service

  • Third-party diagnostics, coding, or repairs

  • Battery, electrical, or voltage-related issues

  • Wear and tear, misuse, water damage, or physical damage

  • Any issue not reported and verified on site

Once the service is completed, tested, and accepted, AJ Auto holds no further responsibility unless a clear manufacturer defect is proven.


9. Warranty Void Conditions

The warranty is automatically void if:

  • The vehicle is accessed or worked on by a dealer, garage, locksmith, or technician after our visit

  • Any diagnostic, coding, or programming tool is connected after service

  • The vehicle battery is weak, replaced, or disconnected without our inspection

  • There is tampering, modification, or interference with the vehicle or keys


10. Behaviour and Conduct

AJ Auto reserves the absolute right to cancel services and/or void any warranty immediately in cases of:

  • Threatening, abusive, aggressive, or intimidating behaviour

  • Harassment of staff or technicians

  • False allegations, coercion, or attempts at blackmail

  • Threats of legal action or negative reviews used as leverage

This decision is final and non-negotiable.


11. Limitation of Liability

AJ Auto shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, consequential, or economic losses

  • Loss of use, loss of earnings, or inconvenience

  • Any issue unrelated to the specific service provided

Any liability, where legally established, is strictly limited to the amount paid for the service.


12. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal data is handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws and our Privacy Policy.


13. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, logos, images, and text are the intellectual property of AJ Auto.
Unauthorised use is prohibited.


14. Third-Party Links

We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of third-party websites.


15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.


16. Amendments

AJ Auto reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
