Why F-PACE All Keys Lost Is a Specialist Job
The Jaguar F-PACE uses a Key Vehicle Module (KVM) that stores a cryptographic profile for every registered key. When all keys are lost, every registered profile must first be cleared and the module rebuilt before a new key will be accepted. Standard locksmith equipment cannot complete this. The 2021 facelift also introduced a revised fob design with different hardware and different Pathfinder parameters from pre-facelift models. We confirm model year and VIN before attending to carry the correct blank.
How Long Does It Take?
An F-PACE all-keys-lost job typically takes 60 to 75 minutes on site. Some jobs run slightly longer if the 12V battery is low. If voltage drops below a stable threshold the KVM will not complete the programming sequence. We carry a battery support unit on every callout to maintain voltage throughout.

Documentation Required
Before any all-keys-lost work begins we need: a V5C registration document in the keeper’s name, or a valid lease or fleet agreement; and photo ID. This is non-negotiable. If your V5C is locked inside, a DVLA enquiry printout alongside insurance documents and photo ID is acceptable.

Do I need the original key to book an F-PACE all-keys-lost job?
No — if every key has been lost, that is exactly what the all-keys-lost service is for. You do not need any existing key. You do need your V5C and photo ID.
Will my F-PACE need to be towed to a dealer?
No. We attend at your location and complete the entire KVM clear and rebuild on site. Recovery is not necessary.
Is the pre-facelift F-PACE cheaper to do than the post-facelift?
The cost is the same. The key blank for the post-2020 facelift is a different design but the price difference is already included in our standard rate.
How many keys can be programmed at the same appointment?
Two or more keys can be programmed at the same Pathfinder session. We recommend two at every all-keys-lost appointment. The second key costs less than a separate call-out would.

When to go to a dealer instead
If your vehicle is still under JLR factory warranty and the fault is covered, take it to a dealer. Warranty repairs are free and no specialist can match that. If you need a recall fix, the dealer is the right call. Outside of those two situations, a mobile JLR specialist will be faster, cheaper, and will attend at your location.
