Most Jaguar all keys lost jobs are completed in 20 to 50 minutes on site. F-PACE, E-PACE, XE and XF on the Pathfinder platform are typically at the faster end. Jaguar I-PACE all keys lost takes a little longer due to the 12V auxiliary battery checks that are essential on that model before the KVM reset begins. We arrive with a blade cut to your Jaguar VIN and gain entry to the car non-destructively via the door lock cylinder. Once inside, we connect to the OBD port and use Pathfinder to perform a full Keyless Vehicle Module security reset. This permanently clears every previously paired key from the system. We then pair new virgin remotes through the encrypted JLR procedure. The alarm is disarmed as part of the OBD connection. We test passive entry, push-button start, remote locking and proximity detection before signing off. We aim to programme two keys before leaving every time.
2020 Jaguar XF Sportbrake SE, London. Both keys dropped in a river during a family trip. We were called the same afternoon. The car was parked at a street address in South London, no off-street parking.
