How Long Does It Take?
A Jaguar F-PACE spare key takes 10 to 15 minutes on site. Pre-facelift F-PACEs up to 2020 and post-facelift models from 2020 onwards use slightly different KVM procedures, but the on-site time is similar. We carry blanks for all variants including S, SE, R-Sport, Portfolio, SVR and the plug-in P400e.
Pre-Facelift vs Post-Facelift F-PACE Keys
The F-PACE received a significant facelift in 2020 which updated the interior, Pivi Pro infotainment and the security architecture. Pre-2020 F-PACEs use the original JLR proximity key system. Post-2020 models use the updated Pathfinder security module with a revised pairing sequence. Both are handled identically from your perspective, the on-site time and price are the same. The difference only matters to the technician connecting to the KVM.
The P400e plug-in hybrid F-PACE carries additional hybrid system modules but the keyless entry and ignition system functions on the same 12V network as the standard models. Programming a spare key on the P400e is no different from the non-hybrid variants.
