Entry-Level vs Keyless E-PACE
The E-PACE is specification-dependent on keyless entry. Entry-level and S trims typically use a standard remote key that requires button presses to lock and unlock. Mid and upper trims include full PEPS (Passive Entry Passive Start) keyless entry. The key blank is the same physical part in both cases, but the programming configuration differs. When you call, we confirm your VIN to identify the correct configuration and carry the right blank.
What the Job Involves
A spare key job requires the existing working key to be present at the appointment. We connect to the E-PACE’s KVM via Pathfinder, add the new key profile alongside the existing one, and test all functions before leaving. The existing key continues to work unchanged.
